Один из злобных австралийцев написал следующее:
How is they're income justified against say- someone who builds fences for a living or a doctor?
For me personally the guy who builds my fence has done a lot more than making 45min worth of music. The charge though is only enough to cover expenses, time and pay the bills until the next job.
A doctor could save your life on the operating table.
Now let's take Britney Spears...the perfect example. What did she actually DO for you? Gave you maybe 30mins worth of collective listening enjoyment in the car on the way to work. IF you enjoyed all her singles that is and the odds of that don't seem good.
So she's got US$200M?? Great! That means the price of cd's can come down. If these ppl got signed to a $500,000 contract as apposed to a $27M one then the label doesn't have to recoup as much and the sale price can go down. Same with the movies. Instead of paying these ego-driven actors US$30M PER FILM why not pay them all less and reduce the ticket price or pay the support staff more.
